Outer Reef Water Sports Centre
Marine Centre of Excellence, Saundersfoot Harbour
Offering a wide range of water sports activities including paddle-boarding, kayaking, surfing, coasteering, powerboating, and sailing, in addition to offering international outdoor instructor courses, and water sports clubs. Outer Reef, based at the Marine Centre of Excellence, have been delivering exciting water sports to locals, visitors, school children, and Disability Sports Wales, amongst others, for over 20 years. As an accredited ISA and SLSGB training centre, they are developing opportunities for the local community to gain employment with the RNLI, in surf camps and water sports centres nationally and internationally.
Crabbing & Fishing
National Events Deck, Saundersfoot Harbour
The Crabbing Centre is now OPEN.
A fun FREE activity for all the family, crabbing is a sure way to keep everyone amused and learn a little about the local wildlife at the same time. The Crabbing Centre can be found in the middle of the National Events Deck, and is wheelchair accessible, with safety railings in place. Please be aware that for your safety, crabbing is not allowed into the harbour itself.
What do we do?
Crabbing buckets, lines and bait can be purchased from Fairwinds Chandlery at the Marine Centre of Excellence.
Organised fishing trips run from the Visitor Pontoon on Saundersfoot Harbour, and are suitable for both beginners and experienced fishermen. See the Boat Trips section below for more information and to book.
Saundersfoot Harbour is the perfect base from which to explore the waters of Pembrokeshire, whether for sight-seeing or fishing. Boat trips can be booked from the blue and white striped hut on the promenade, overlooking Saundersfoot Beach, and leave from the Visitor Pontoon in the harbour.
