Saundersfoot Welcome Centre & Museum.
The Welcome Centre is situated next to Ocean Square, in the white building formerly know as the Coal Office.
Entry into the Welcome Centre is free. Inside you will find an array of gifts from chocolates, the famous Coaltown Coffee, small cuddly teddy bears to crabbing buckets, nets, beach buckets and spades and a whole lot more.
The Welcome Centre houses the display area of Coal Mining Industry in the 19th Century in Saundersfoot.
Learn about the coal mining history of Saundersfoot. Explore our mine shaft for a feel at life down the mine in the day.
See the role that Saundersfoot played in the preparations for the D-Day landings.
There is a wealth of history being shown and told in the history room.
Thats not all. Visit the life size replica of a Coastal Schooner on the Events Deck, that would have come into the harbour in the day to take away the coal that was mined. Discover information on navigation and maritime past with tails of the high seas and pirates.
